A Little About Your Teacher
I am married, have two beautiful children, a son in law, and a precious granddaughter! My husband, Matt, is a dental hygienist at Branson Dental Center. My daughter, Lakyn, is twenty eight and is a cosmetologist at Blend Salon here in Branson. She is amazing at what she does, and we are very proud of her. She has been married for almost four years now to her husband Brett. Brett is a PGA golf professional at Ledgestone Country Club. My son, Luke, is a junior in college this year. He is on a football scholarship at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. We are thrilled that he gets to continue playing the game he loves as he gets his college education. Our sweet granddaughter, Della Rayne, just celebrated her first birthday! She is an absolute doll, and has brought so much joy to our family! As a family, we love to spend time on the lake and watching football. We especially enjoy watching our favorite football player, Luke Masters!
I am starting my twentieth year of teaching here at Branson. I taught fourth grade for eight years. I loved fourth grade and all I could do with that age of students. The year Luke was going to be a fourth grader, I decided to make the move to first grade. My baby was growing up, and I was missing the sweetness of being around little ones. That move has turned out to be such a blessing. First graders have such a love for learning, and the growth they make in a year is amazing. It is so rewarding!
